7.15.18 – Today I signed up for Plexus. I did so out of sheer desperation and with a handful of hope in finding something to help me. For as long as I can remember I’ve been chronically fatigued. The constant tiredness, especially after having children, wears a great deal on me. It’s depressing to not have the energy that my peers do to play with their kids, chase their dreams, and care for themselves. I’ve always had to choose just one of those three options, never having enough in me to even be able to choose two at a time. I’m in awe daily that my husband can work 12 plus hour shifts and stay awake to eat and spend time with our boys. I wouldn’t physically be able to stay awake and alert for that long. I want to make a list of everything that’s frustrating me about my health so I can know if or how I improve once using plexus. Just under 160 lbs starting weight.
- I don’t remember the last time I felt “healthy”… maybe prior to 13
- There have only been a handful of mornings since then that I’ve woken up feeling rested and ready to get up and tackle my day. As I’ve gotten older my mornings start by groggily pulling myself out of bed, my whole body hurting, and feeling major pain in my feet when they first hit the floor in the morning. The pain in my feet remains for about the first 10-15 minutes of the day.
- I “need” caffeine to make it through the day without a nap. And even then I usually could still take one.
- I have low blood pressure, poor circulation
- Cold easily & reynolds syndrome
- It’s hard for me to stay hydrated
- Intolerance of exercise
- Joint pain
- Muscle & tendon tightness and tension
- Digestive issues
- Very dry skin
- Scalp psoriasis
- Weight gain even when trying to lose weight
- Fatigue, but trouble falling asleep at night
- Brain fog & trouble focusing on anything for as long as I need to
- Brittle nails and hair loss
- Sugar & caffeine cravings
- Many of these things pointing to “leaky gut
